The Ammonite Pottery
"An inspiring and fun venue where creativity flows."
Beautiful studio by the river, located half an hour from Carcassonne
airport.
Rowena uses her studio to create her range of ceramics and
to give classes to children and adults. She has experience in
teaching pottery to the autistic and other special needs people.
Raku workshops are held outside.
The Ammonite Pottery also runs residential courses.
Schools can bring children for summer trips. Also available
to bring a wheel into schools.
The Pottery is currently not open for students as Rowena is
travelling. She looks forward to re opening, possibly next year,
2011, when she will be delighted to share the new skills she
is developing. She is currently in Byron Bay Australia, where
the colours of the ocean combined with sand and shells are inspiring
her new work. Rowena will add more images of current work to
the gallery.
Rowena will be in UK during May 2010 and is available to visit
schools, special needs or mainstream, also, private homes for
workshops - book early! For details, please contact her at rowena.coxwell@yahoo.com
