Residential Pottery Courses

Ammonite pottery is now offering residential pottery holidays, tailor made to suit individual requirement and budget. The house and pottery is in a stunning location with the Agent Double river running the length of the land.

The pottery is a beautifully converted building where the fish farm once housed its smokeries. All trace of fish is gone! The studio is light and airy it offers four electric plus one kick wheel, glazing room and damp room. both electric and raku kilns are in constant use. Rowena would love to build wood burning kilns.

The house and pottery is set in 12 acres of land, plenty of places to explore or watch the river go by. We grow almost all the veg and salad used by the house and we have hens for fresh eggs and a little goat for fun, 3 friendly dogs and 4 cats complete the picture.

Neighbouring properties offer a variety of gite and B&B facilities, some with pools.
